Finding out more about the courses
We are often asked what it is like taking an Amida course. People ask if we run "taster sessions". In practice, although we do not have designated "introductory" courses, and course can function in this way. If you would like to try out the programme, enrol on any weekend or longer course section and try the Amida training style for yourself. If you decide it is not for you, you will still have had an interesting and rewarding experience, and if you do decide to apply, you can join the programme and count the training hours towards your quaification, provided you do this within six months of the attendance.
Nothing beats coming along to meet us or attend a course, but, failing that, we have tried to include some representative materials on the site. You will find various samples of student's work, and also a sample lesson from the Distance Learning Programme, and an opportunity to listen in to a seminar presented by one of our ministry students (wma audio file)
